BIENAL CAFÉ
A permanent space for the relationship between visitors and Oscar Niemeyer’s pavilion
A meeting point at the ground floor of the Ciccillo Matarazzo Pavilion opens Fundação Bienal headquarters to the public, connecting it to the city and broadening its contact with Ibirapuera Park's visitors.
An outdoor area with a large wooden deck, open wi-fi and a menu that offers sandwiches, snacks, juices and salads make the Bienal Cafe a new option for socializing and experiencing organic food in the park.
The space holds the complete collection of the posters from all 33 editions of the Bienal de São Paulo, with information about each exhibition. It recalls an important chapter in the histories of graphic design and art exhibitions in Brazil, leaded by the Bienal since the 1950s.
